US District Judge Victor Marrero denied Louboutin's request for a preliminary injunction to prevent the sale of YSL's red out-soled shoe (featured in YSL's 2011 Resort Collection).
So, while you can still pick this shoe up (here), this is likely not the last we have heard about this case. Louboutin's lawyer, Harley Lewin of McCarter & English LLP, alluded to this not being the end of it, noting that they are still studying the decision.

ReplyDeleteMany things in this world cannot be seen in black and white only. Same with law, I guess. Sometimes law can be skewed and damn unfair. But anyway, the reality is this: life is not fair. So we accept, adapt and overcome. :)
